A device's rated duty cycle is its maximum, not its comfort zone. Running a machine near its limit wears it out and slows you down, so you want a class whose duty cycle is a healthy multiple of your real volume.
How it works
We map your monthly volume to a device class and recommend a target duty cycle of about three times your volume, enough headroom for peaks without overbuying.

Common questions
Why not buy right at my volume?
Because volume spikes, and devices last longer when they're not maxed out. Headroom is cheap insurance against downtime.
